A tour of our roasting plant
The Varesina Caffè roasting plant has a history that dates back 100 years but is situated in an easily-accessible, highly-functional, contemporary building in the city of Varese.
Our glass panelled offices are modern and well-structured and have a car park for customers and visitors.
The shop at Varesina Caffè is easy to get to and sells five freshly roasted coffee blends that we’ll grind up for you there and then. These are packaged in special valve bags that allow carbon dioxide from the roasting phase to be released and maintain the aroma of our coffee blends.
In the production area there are our Probat traditional roasting machines, which have been redesigned to roast our different blends.
The consistent quality of these blends hinges on our 20 silos containing different unroasted coffee beans from various production areas in Central and South America.
The production process ends with our packaging machine and compostable coffee pod machine.
The modern Varesina Caffè warehouse has recently been expanded and, in addition to our finished products, we also stock bulk quantities of raw beans. This means our production process is hiccup-free and our supply process runs like clockwork.
